The Halton Region’s summer student program is an excellent summer opportunity providing four months of hands-on experience and opening countless doors. Each summer, Halton Region offers paid work opportunities to eligible post-secondary students. As part of our team, you will explore career options and gain invaluable hands-on experience in your field to help you achieve your future career goals. You will be part of a progressive, service-focused and award-winning employer.
To be eligible to apply for a summer student position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in full-time studies as part of a post-secondary program.
- Returning to full-time studies in September 2025.
- Be legally eligible to work in Canada as a student.
Available Opportunities:
Opportunities vary ranging from Administrative, Communications, Customer Services, Financial Operations, Human Resources, Policy to Communicable Diseases, Nutrition Services, and Paramedic Services.
