Senior Procurement Lead Interim/Temporary

Our client in the public sector is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Lead to join their team for an excellent interim opportunity. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the contract procurement process for goods and services in alignment with public service directives such as accountability, transparency, fairness, and value-for-money;
• Managing the RFX end-to-end process including issuance, receipt, mandatory requirements review, contract management, vendor relations, and evaluation;
• Providing procurement advice to both internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated procurement experience, preferably in the public or broader public sector;
• A post-secondary degree in a relevant field;
• Knowledge and understanding of OPS/BPS procurement principles, policies, directives, processes and resources;
• Experience conducting tenders such as RFB/RFB/RFT/RFS;
• Proven communication skills to liaise with various internal and external stakeholders;
• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
