Our public sector client is looking for a dynamic Senior Communications Specialist for an exciting remote interim role. You’ll take the lead in crafting impactful, strategic communications that resonate with the organization’s mission while collaborating closely with a talented team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide senior-level communications consulting for staff, tenants, applicants, and stakeholders.
- Identify and address communications risks while leveraging opportunities.
- Lead planning and project management for corporate communications initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with policies and legislative requirements in all communications.
- Oversee the creation of diverse print and digital communications materials.
- Offer counsel for presentations and materials to align with corporate objectives.
- Mentor and support the communications team.
- Collaborate with external consultants and vendors as needed.
- Support corporate projects aimed at enhancing customer service, innovation, and organizational change.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, English, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years in corporate communications or PR, with 3-5 years in digital design and writing.
- Proven track record in managing high-profile communications projects in fast-paced settings.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Suite, CMS platforms, and social media tools.
- Strong interpersonal and project management skills focused on customer service
