Want to make a difference in your career? Consider this opportunity.
The Systemic Treatment Program (STP) strives to be leaders in the provision of high-quality systemic treatment through innovation, integration and partnership.
The program works to improve equitable access to high-quality cancer care for all patients in Ontario by setting standards and guidelines for all systemic cancer treatments. Systemic treatments are therapies used to treat cancer cells throughout the body and include chemotherapy, hormone therapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy.
Collaborating with other Clinical Programs and Quality Initiatives (CPQI) programs, business partners across CCO, and working extensively with oncology professionals across the regions, the STP continues to ensure that established standards reinforce positive change and improve best practices across Ontario.
The STP manages the Drug Formulary which is a publicly available information resource and serves as a reference for clinicians, administrators and patients reflecting best practices, standardized language and safe use of drugs in the Ontario cancer system.
The ideal candidate will be a pharmacist with hands-on experience in the provision of systemic treatment and an interest in expanding their scope of practice.
