Payroll and Benefits Specialist
Our regulatory client is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Specialist for an interim assignment with the potential to become permanent. In this role, you will process and deliver timely and accurate remuneration, pension and benefits to the whole organization on a biweekly basis. You will work with Workday HCM to perform payroll duties, perform audits on payroll, time and attendance, liaise with the insured benefits and defined pension benefits provider for any administration and resolve issues as required.
Qualifications:
- You have more than 5 years of experience in full-cycle payroll and have demonstrated working knowledge of Canadian payroll practices;
- You have previous experience processing and analyzing payroll for a large organization;
- You are certified by the National Payroll Institute (PCP or PLP designation)
- You have experience with Ceridian Dayforce HCM, ADP Workforce and have advanced Microsoft Excel skills;
- You have exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent communication skills;
- You must be flexible to work fully onsite;
- Previous Internship/Co-op experience is considered an asset.
