Our client in the non-profit sector is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team for an excellent, hands-on interim opportunity. In this role, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment, labour relations, health and safety, employee engagement, and providing HR advice and recommendations to senior management.

Your ability to communicate and work with various team members, including senior leadership, to coach and guide them, along with your strong leadership and relationship management skills will be key in this role.

Qualifications:

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or a relevant field;
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant generalist HR experience, preferably in the public or non-profit sector;
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and human resources policies and programs;
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and manage in a complex environment;
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
