Human Resources Project Coordinator
Our not-for-profit client based in Downtown Toronto is looking for a Human Resources Project Coordinator to support them on various short-term HR projects. In this role, you will be supporting projects related to executive succession planning, job evaluation and description revision, implement the onboarding module on Ceridian, future work plan finalization and implementation and other ad hoc duties as required. You may also support the client’s employee performance review process, employee engagement survey, support the client’s ongoing union negotiations and perform other ad hoc duties as required by the role.
Qualifications
You 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Specialist preferably in the government or regulatory sector and the relevant educational qualification(s);
You have or are working towards a professional designation (CHRL, CHRP);
You have experience working with job evaluation plans, drafting job descriptions, and adjusting/configuring HR information systems;
You have previous experience working in a unionized environment;
You have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with tact and professionalism;
You have the ability follow with a high level of attention to detail, established processes, procedures, and direction;
You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels at the organization;
You have the ability to work collaboratively and respectfully in a diverse workspace, including awareness of and sensitivity to cultural, racial, ethnic, gender, age and disability-related issues that may arise in the workplace.
