Our client in the broader public sector is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst for a 1 year contract assignment.
This role supports the Finance function with a focus on accounts receivable and accounts payable operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance. You will provide guidance on transaction processing, ensure adherence to policies and government directives, and contribute to accurate and timely financial reporting.
In this role, you will prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, monitor aging reports, support audit processes, and complete financial analysis to inform decision-making. You will also assist in maintaining process documentation and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
