Finance Data Assistant Contract

Our public sector client is seeking a Finance Data Assistant to join their team. This role will play a key part in supporting data cleansing efforts in preparation for an upcoming system upgrade. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, verifying, and updating vendor and customer records, working with large datasets, and ensuring data accuracy across multiple systems and spreadsheets.

Qualifications:

  • Financial background with experience or understanding of vendor and customer master data;
  • Strong Excel skills, including filtering, sorting, and navigating large spreadsheets;
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and identifying data inconsistencies;
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
  • Experience in accounts payable is an asset.
