If you thrive in a start-up environment and are a top-notch senior administrator, consider joining Intellectual Property Ontario (IPON), an exciting new agency searching for an experienced Executive Assistant to support and advise the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and leadership team.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and effective day-to-day operations of the CEO’s office, overseeing office staff, managing stakeholder relations, responding to complex issues and taking on special projects.
Responsibilities include: providing executive support, analysis and advice, including on issues management and strategic operational planning; managing relationships with private and broader public sector partners and stakeholders; supporting CEO participation in external working groups, consultation tables and events; ensuring cross-departmental policy development and service plans are properly linked and aligned; supporting Board logistics; leading/participating on projects including researching topics, preparing business cases and project plans, and in consultations and meetings with management, staff and stakeholders; coordinating the flow and assignment of incoming requests, materials and issues; drafting/reviewing various material including correspondence and manage approvals and processes; ensuring the CEO’s office functions efficiently and professionally, and that all levels of accountability/approval/confidentiality are maintained; supervising the administrative assistant and other staff, maintaining HR records, asset inventories, records, and files for the CEO’s office.
