STO is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as Director, Apprenticeship Training, Curriculum Standards and Examinations. Reporting to the Deputy Registrar and Chief Operating Officer, this senior leadership role will guide the development and modernization of Ontario’s apprenticeship training standards, curriculum standards, and certification examinations.
The Director will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for developing apprenticeship standards and certification assessments that are responsive to industry needs and aligned with Ontario’s regulatory framework and national Red Seal standards.
This role also represents Ontario in national forums, including the Interprovincial Standards Examination Committee (ISEC), contributing to interjurisdictional collaboration and the ongoing development of Red Seal examinations.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $123,534.84 to $167,781.43, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Starting salary will be based on relevant skills, experience, and internal equity.
