We are currently seeking a skilled Research and Data Analyst to support our client in the public sector. In this role, you will analyze large datasets using tools like Excel and Access, ensuring compliance with government regulations such as the Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act (PSSDA). You will also conduct research, identify emerging issues, and provide data-driven recommendations to support management decisions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in large-volume data analysis and review, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in using data analytics tools, such as Excel and/or Access, to process and manipulate data effectively.
- Strong understanding of government legislative requirements, including the Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act (PSSDA), and experience applying these regulations to data and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience conducting research to support work processes and responding to inquiries, briefings, and external communications.
- Ability to assess emerging issues through data analysis, investigate trends, and provide recommendations to support IT systems and business process improvements.
- Experience collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
