Communications Consultant
We are currently looking to augment our roster with Communications Consultants for our clients located in the Greater Toronto Area (Downtown Toronto, Mississauga, Etobicoke, North York, Scarborough). This role typically involves internal and external communications, preparing strategic communication plans and maintaining stakeholder relations. You will also be involved with communication via digital media, web content, HTML coding, creating publications and press-releases, speeches, and other ad hoc duties as required.
Qualifications:
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in a communications role along with post-secondary education in a relevant field (i.e., Journalism, Media Communication, Public Relations, etc.);
- You have exceptional writing skills and can demonstrate judgement and political acuity;
- You can lead multiple concurrent communication initiatives from concept to implementation;
- You have stellar interpersonal skills and have extensive knowledge of communications principles, tools and best practice;
- You are methodical, organized, and excel in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines;
- You are flexible to go onsite or work in a hybrid model as required.
