Our public sector client is seeking an experienced Board Governance Advisor to provide leadership in governance, operations, and strategic decision-making. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, bylaws, and Board policies. You will lead the continuous improvement of Board processes, ensuring they are scalable, repeatable, and aligned with best practices.
You will be tasked with overseeing Board operations, including systematizing meeting processes, developing agendas, and ensuring action tracking for key resolutions. Additionally, you will manage stakeholder engagement strategies and work with internal and external parties to maintain transparent communication and ensure governance best practices are followed.
