Our Ministry client is looking for a Bilingual (French and English) Application Screening Representative to support their office for a full-time, interim opportunity. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with related legislation and regulations while screening applications on behalf of vulnerable adults in Ontario. You will also review applications and evaluates the suitability of applicants, identify and investigate allegations, and provide direction and assistance to clients regarding the status of their application and any concerns they may have.
Qualifications:
- You are fluently bilingual in French and English and have 2+ years of experience in a similar environment;
- You have knowledge of various legislations including, Substitute Decisions Act, the Family Law Act and the Mental Health Act;
- You have working knowledge of basic accounting principles in order to successfully analyze ad hoc financial information;
- You are proficient with Microsoft Words and have experience using software such as WordPerfect etc;
- You are a reasonable and analytical thinker, and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
