As an essential member of the Ontario Cancer Registry, operated by Ontario Health (Cancer Care Ontario), the Cancer Registry Analyst will work to create cancer patient data utilizing healthcare facility-based patient records, electronic synoptic pathology reports and other provincial cancer related data holdings. The primary responsibilities of the Cancer Registry Analyst are to assure that complete and accurate cancer data is generated, collected, analysed, and maintained for all Ontario residents diagnosed with cancer. The Cancer Registry Analyst will work with members of various Ontario Health research and analytic teams and technology services as well as external healthcare providers, health information management leads, privacy officers and information technology contacts in the daily course of their work.
