Our healthcare client in the West End is looking for individuals with strong backgrounds in providing onsite administrative support for urgent, interim opportunities with possibilities of extension. In this role you will be responsible for arranging meetings involving multiple internal/external participants, calendar management, and preparing meeting agendas. You will also be conducting procurement activities for the office (e.g. purchasing office supplies, and other goods and services), and performing general reception duties.
You have 2+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, and have working knowledge of government policies, procedures, and healthcare practices
You have superior written and verbal skills with strong communication and interpersonal skills
You are a skilled multi-tasker; with excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage time effectively
You have stellar interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously and function effectively in a team environment
Previous medical administrative support is considered an asset.
