Accounting Assistant
We’re on the lookout for a sharp Accounting Assistant to join our client’s team immediately, with exciting potential for extension. In this pivotal role, you’ll handle crucial financial tasks such as document preparation, AP/AR management, invoice processing, and reconciliations. Your keen eye for detail will keep our records accurate and up-to-date. Join us in this dynamic opportunity!
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation of tax filings and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting regulations;
- Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning;
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards;
- Other ad hoc accounting duties as required.
Qualifications:
- You more than 3 years of work experience in an office setting performing full-cycle accounting (payables, receivables, reconciliations);
- You have strong technical skills with advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s, creating charts and reports, data analysis, etc)
- You have demonstrated work experience using accounting software such as SAGE 300, QuickBooks, MS Dynamics, Oracle ERP, to name a few.
- You have exceptional attention to detail and accuracy skills and have outstanding problem solving and analytical skills;
- You have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in a professional manner;
- You are flexible to work fully onsite as required by the client.
