Examination Proctor – Dryden
The Ontario Water Wastewater Certification Office (OWWCO) is seeking an Examination Proctor located in Dryden for an ongoing, occasional opportunity at $30 per hour.
In this role, you will be responsible for receiving examination materials, conducting in-person proctoring on scheduled examination dates, and returning the examination package following each session.
Each examination day is approximately 8 hours and consists of two 3-hour examination sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Examination dates are provided a minimum of three months in advance. Exam sessions are held approximately once per month, for a total of 10 examination dates per year, with no sessions scheduled in July or December.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and maintain examination materials prior to scheduled sessions.
- Conduct in-person proctoring for morning and afternoon examination sessions.
- Monitor candidates and ensure examination procedures are followed.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of examination materials.
- Return examination materials following each examination day.
- Provide your own transportation to and from the examination location.
- Be available for additional occasional examination sessions where scheduling permits.
Qualifications
- Previous experience proctoring, teaching, or training adults is required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
- Professional and dependable approach when working independently.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle examination materials.
- Ability to provide your own transportation to and from the examination location.
