We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Quality Specialist to support a public sector client on complex enterprise data initiatives focused on improving data quality, profiling, reporting, and governance across large and sensitive data environments.
This role will play a key part in advancing standardized data quality frameworks, profiling methodologies, dashboards, and operational reporting practices to support reliable and high-quality enterprise data management.
Key Responsibilities Reporting to project leadership, you will:
Lead the development and implementation of standardized data profiling and data quality frameworks
Conduct structural, content, and relationship analysis across complex datasets
Develop data quality metrics, KPIs, and monitoring approaches
Lead data quality remediation planning and recommend process improvements
Assess data quality dimensions including completeness, consistency, validity, uniqueness, and timeliness
Recommend and evaluate profiling tools and technologies for large-scale and sensitive datasets
Develop customized reports, dashboards, and profiling outputs
Prepare technical documentation, methodologies, operational guides, and maintenance materials
Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to support implementation, reporting, and data analysis activities
Provide recommendations related to data quality risks, trends, and continuous improvement opportunities
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
Experience leading data profiling, data quality management, or data governance initiatives
Strong experience working with large and sensitive datasets
Experience developing data quality frameworks, profiling methodologies, and monitoring processes
Hands-on experience with profiling, reporting, analytics, or visualization tools
Strong understanding of data quality principles and remediation approaches
Experience developing dashboards, reporting packages, and technical documentation
Experience working within public sector, healthcare, or highly regulated environments is preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
